Whenever I add a name to the iggy bin I always incure a 25 second program freeze, and after closing the window the program freezes completely and I’m forced to end task and lose my recent ignores. I suspect it’s because of the large number of names I have ignored, but I’d rather not delete names off the list. I can click names within the room or PM without any problem but if I need to add a bot wildcard name then that becomes a problem. Another reason is some bots have a three character prefix (E.g., a11) that aren’t accepted as wildcards. Anyone have any advice?

The most I’ve had in there was about 15 thousand. Then I read that the bots/spammers will change their names from time to time, so you might not see ones from a year ago anymore anyways.
Maybe, you can go into Super Iggy Bin and scroll down the list to the bottom and see what the dates are and remove some of the old bots/spammers and see what happens. Maybe a month at a time, depending upon how long it’s been since you iggy’d them. If they happen to show up again, iggy them if you wish, but you might find you won’t have to re-iggy them all.
Good luck.

You can not edit the ytunnel ignore list outside ytunnel.
Well unless you can unencript, an encripted file.
I had researched this question, because I wanted to merge two different ignore lists into one.
However, I also found, as stated above, the more people in your bin, the slower ytunnel takes to load up and shut down.
I NEVER emptied my bin. I had over 65,000 people in it. However, it took ytunnel approximately 6 minutes (and yes I timed it), to load up.
So my suggestion to you is to change your setting in the iggy bin, to remove those people from the bin that you have not encountered within the last 2 weeks.
This should take care of so many of your delay problems.
Also, remember to use the Wildcard. This feature will take care of so many bots at the same time.
October 20, 2006 at 11:10 pm #150108Puddys-WorldMemberwhen i used tunnel i had 50,000 names in the iggy.
I have a fast computer so it took about 20 sec for tunnel to load.
And yes you can edit the file, bein that you have another file to add to it that is.
If you save your iggy file you can also reload it after you format etc…Puddy.

Which allows you to Import and Export the names in the YTunnel Ignore Bin.
If you are using YTunnel Pro 2.0 and lower then as Netti has pointed out,
you would have to know the method of encryption and decryption. Yes the
names are not encrypted but all other the other information like the date,
the reason for being ignored, and the wild card, ect.You can save the .ig2 file used to store the Ignore Bin information, then
replace it with the one that is currently there say if you had to format and
want to have all of your names like you did before you formatted as Puddy said.October 21, 2006 at 12:57 pm #150105DermotParticipantPeople should never have over 65,000 in their ignore list lol
keeping id’s on ignore that long is sorta pointless as they keep changing the id, specially the bots
Your client/program has to check that list of 65,000 everytime a person enters the room, think about the cpu usage of that, yes some pc’s are fast, but some are not.
I suggest wiping your ignore list and use the wildcard feature in y tunnel to cut the need for a list tenfold, too many people are trigger happy to make the “numbers” on ignore list so they can post them in chatrooms, but having a big list will effect your clients/program perfomance considerably.
I use a wildcard i wrote on YahELite and never go over 300 ignores and i hardly see any bots whatsoever, this kind of effect can be done in y tunnel however it does not use real regex so not as effective.
