Can I recover off-line messages?

I opened up messenger and had 3 off-line messages. Mis-clicked with the mouse and closed Messenger … I didn’t get a chance to read the messages … *and didn’t have archive turned on. Is there any way I can recover those messages so I can read them?

(I have archive turned on now)

I’m pretty sure there is no way to get these back.. sorry to say. That is good you have archiving on now, so this won’t happen to you again.

Offline messages are stored in
C:Program FilesYahoo!MessengerStoredIMI am not sure if they get totally deleted from that directory upon closing the window.
If they do, and you didn’t have archiving on, then there is no way to read what they said.
