there is one low life:mad: who is bothering me these days…so i ignored him but he made vulgar bots in my name and i ended up complaining to yahoo cutomer care and got a prompt reply from them telling me how i should put that jerk on ignore and promising to look in to the matter. Now my problem is that he was talking abt me in the room so i removed my ignoreto see what he was saying:pbut i cant see him or even if i can see him i cant read what he is talking while others can….so suddenly he is like ghost to me…he is there but i cant see him or read him…when frendz paste what he talks abt me in my window i dont get it. this whole thing is spooking me out. and yes i have checked everything he is not on my ignore….can yahoo block him so that i cant see him…its so weird:eek:
Umm, I really doubt that you wouldnt’ be able to see what he/she says if you friends copy and paste it for you to see. However, one thing you can try is making a whole new account, and leaving out all personal information from the profile. Also make sure that it doesnt have anything in the name that would give you away. Another thing you might want to do is run a virus scan, just in case he’s got something on your computer to make sure you can’t see what he’s typing. It could also be a ruse to make you really really mad, though i dont’ see why your friends would do that to you. So, first off run a scan and check to see if you can see him after the scan is done, and if that doesn’t help then make an entirely new account.
ok i have logged on in chat after three days in diff id i can see him in room but still cant read wht he is typing…..i have also scanned pc for virus came with usual seekseek virus which has beocme more like my pet now[doesnt leave me] and a friend of mine came with a gem of excuse why i cant see the jerk which is :)friend>>u cant see him cause yahoo has locked him outta ur sphere..huh is it possible?????
Netsavy do you use spybot S&D that should remove your pet unless you like it to much to let it go As for scanning your pc try scanning it for trogans you can do that here http://scan.sygate.com/trojanscan.html Other than that I wouldnt know strange that you cant see what he types and Never heard of a yahoo locking anything but accounts , might wanna check your filters .
Okay, I think I’ve found your problem. ^_^ What you need to do is go into your yahoo preferences, click on “privacy” and check to see if he’s in your ignore list. If he’s on that list, then you can see him in the room, but you won’t be able to see what he says. Hope this solves your problem.:D
hi riff raff i have spybotS&D and it doesnt show seek seek parasite while my other scanner called spyhunter does….but i have to buy it then only it will destroy that parasite….zhugeliang i have looked in to my ytunnel and ym filters and my ignore list also he is not there and still i cant see wht he types i can see him but cant read a word of wht he says and also i cant read any of the bots he made in my name i can see them entering the room [the bots]and ppl asking this jerk to stop making those bots in my name:( but myself i cant read him or his bots..though they are not in my ignore list…its a blessing in a way but i am so spooked as to why i cant read wht he says and others can:mad:may be yahoo has locked him outta my sphere:D
Well, I don’t know why yahoo would “lock” him out of your “sphere” It doesn’t make sense, there would be no reason to lock you out of his “sphere”. It could be the fact that you keep getting on different servers, which sometimes makes you unable to see what someone says, even though you can see that they are in the room. This happens to me and just about everyone I’ve chatted with, though this seems to happen too often for that to be the case. Have you tried making a totally new Yahoo account (and I dont’ mean just another s/n on the same account, I mean sign up for a totally new account)? And with the spyhunter program, if you can see the program’s name, the *.exe filename, or the file path that it is located in, then you should be able to delete it yourself, you dont’ necissarily need another program to do that. By the way, do you have any idea why he’s doing this, maybe if you apologize to him or whatever, then he’ll stop making the bots, however if he wants you to do something that you’re against, then don’t do it and just make a totally new yahoo account. From the look of things, there isn’t much you can do.
Could he be writing in WHITE??? Try highlighting next to his name when he types, if something is highlighted…paste it to Word (or another wp) and highlight it and change the font colour. If THAT’s what he’s doing….you may have to think twice about if your “friends” are really yours or his.
PS. Ever since updating spybot with the 2 Feb. Update is does not seem to do it’s job anymore. It leaves all of the nasties on the pc. Did that happen to you as well??
No Oreo, my Spybot hasn’t been doing that, dont’ know why yours is. Have you checked again for updates, and have you done an immunization? You might want to also go through the options and check to see if something got changed that wasn’t supposed to be changed. Other than that, I dont’ know what to tell you, maybe someone else can help you more.
P.S. Good idea about the white text by the way. 😉 I didn’t even think about that, and it’s deffinately a possibility. And netsavvy, you might want to start questioning the integrity of your friends, it’s hard to tell from this standpoint whether they are helping you, or helping him.
thanks guys for all u r suggestions…first of all i havent done anything for which i need to apologise to that jerk, he was having a cussing session with one of the guys i know and he happen to call me sis and since that day this jerk took upon himself to cuss me and make bots in my name to get back at other guy…wht a loser:(no oreo he is not writing in white as all other ppl in room can read him clearly and i trust my frends:) …yes i have another account and even with that i cant read wht he says….only thing i can do now is to just try my best to ignore that jerk and believe in ignorence is bliss;)only worry i have is that i hope he hasnt put anything in my pc cause of which i cant see him..regarding spyhunter ..it tells me that seek seek parasite is in my registry in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.. it doesnt say where exactly and i dont wana delete anything there without knowing wht i am doing..again thanks a lot for all u r help:)
ohhh the drama…..anyway why not try….oh wait u tryed everything in the freakin book nvm then……..create a new account …..and lie bout everything …….becuz what says yahoo doesnt lie to u
With that spyhunter program, you should be able to expand that registry key, so you can see where it is exactly and the name of it, and then you might be able to disable/delete it. Just make sure you post it here so that someone can help you with it. Another great forum to look that up on is http://computercops.biz/forums.html . They have a lot of information about computer security, involving everything from info. on OS’s, firewalls, and anti-trojan/anti-spyware material. You should check it out and maybe put a post there asking for advice on that seek seek deal.
