Actually, there might be. That is if you leave aim signed on all the time, 24/7. You can open an IM window with the s/n of the person you want to know about. And when they sign on the “s/n” has signed on shows up in the im box. At least someone told me this one time, never tried it before!
i have deadaim and if you have this program along with aim, you can set your preferences to log when everyone on your buddy list signs on and off. you can also log conversations with this also.

Yes, however that will only work if you are online all the time, and you are not blocked. I assumed that finchchick29 meant last logon to the AOL/AIM network, that is not possible at all.
