Cannot have display pictures on my MSN

can not have display pictures on my msn.evry time i browse and get a picture
it keeps displaying this the file you selected is not a valid file .please
choose another file,it wont stop does it on all pic even display pictures u can download,can
anyone help me out about this prob.thank you.

yay just sorting it .if any of you have this prob , go to start, control panel ,folder options then clike on view file types and tick hide extenions. and clike apply and ok . good luck all thank you.sorry for my bad spallings.
