ok…i was on yahoo messenger and well i was on one of my names and it logged me out…and i went to go log back in and i did it like 8 times and it said “your account has been locked for security reasons” wtf does that mean….if someone could help please do cause its really starting to pi$$ me off hardcore :(:mad:
Bascially what that means is that someone (either you or someone else) has tried accessing your account, and didn’t get the password right. You get 10 tries to get the password right, if you don’t, then your account gets locked. It’s a security measure to make sure your account can’t be hacked, not by guessing your password anyways if you’ve got a rather difficult password to crak. Unfortunately, because of this security feature, it has turned out to be another way to boot people, and keep them off for a few days. It’s not perminantly locked, it’s only temporary, unless they just keep doing it every 3 days or so. Hope this helps you out, and just so you know, there isn’t anything you can really do about it. It sucks, I know, but not all fool proof plans are flawless. 🙂
