Okay, so I accidentally wiped out my entire friend list on Windows Live, and since nobody’s responding to the PM I put up telling them to message me if they still want to be on my list I’m guessing they’re all blocked and deleted. So, my question is, since I can’t seem to find it, where is my block list, so I can get my contacts back?
And if they’re not blocked, is there any way to get them back without having to remember them all individually and adding them one by one? Because I had over 100 contacts, and adding them all one by one would be long, and I don’t even remember all their email addresses.
Any help would appreciated and you’ll get cookies. =3

Go to login.live.com and sign in with your information. On the next screen, click on Hotmail > Contacts. You can then click on the contact and see their information. If they are not on your Messenger list you will see a note something like “You’re not friends with in Messenger. Add as friend” You should be able to add them that way. Assuming they did not delete you from their list, you should probably be fine. If they have deleted you then they will be sent a new invite that they’ll have to accept.
You do have to do them one at a time but it shouldn’t be too painful.
I believe that may work for you (but again I did not test it out). I’m reasonably sure you’ll see all your contacts in the Hotmail screen (but I don’t have a way to test it out at the moment.) Give it a try and let us know if it helps please! Good luck!

Then I look up, see the briefest glimpse of a box in the middle of my browser, and poof! My friends list is gone. What the heck? XD
Nope, that didn’t work, is it possible I both blocked AND deleted them? I was on meebo when it happened, so is it possible to have them restore my account to an earlier point in time so I can retrieve my friends list, maybe they have it stored on their site?
And if that doesn’t work, is it possible I can go to an earlier version of MSN so I can get my block list?

But, that is dependent upon using the latest version of WLM. XP doesn’t support the latest version of WLM, so you may be able to access block and delete lists from an XP computer running WLM. You could give it a try – you have nothing to lose. The worst that happens is you find out they are really gone.
You could try contacting Meebo, but I doubt they can do anything because they don’t host your contact list – WLM does. Good luck!
