I goto this website quite a lot. A PSD website. Anyways, I cannot read the font on their website! I contacted the person and they said they use a regular font and it must be my computer. My friend can see their website fine, but I cant. Its all blurry words. View picture below:
any help on what i can do to fix this will help. I’ve tried to change stuff in the “Encoding” to like Windows, and ISO. but nothing seems to work.
Thanks
January 4, 2005 at 10:08 pm #110994shifterMemberHave you tried viewing the page in an alternate browser? Does it present the same problem?
It would also be helpful if you could link us to the actual page you are having issues with.
January 4, 2005 at 10:09 pm #110996SpikeMemberHmm…if you can attach a TXT file of that page’s script (Right-Click > View Source > File > Save As…), I might be able to tell you the font you’re missing, depending on the site.
January 4, 2005 at 10:26 pm #110995bronxyMemberthe page it came off of is:
http://www.lime-light.org/psds/carmen1.htmland nope, havent looked at the site in another browser.
January 4, 2005 at 10:50 pm #110993DJHyperbyteMemberThe URL you just posted brings me to a 404 (Page not found) error.
January 4, 2005 at 11:27 pm #110997SpikeMemberI think this is a simplar page:
http://www.lime-light.org/psds/
Regardless, the sie uses a CSS, with its font set as verdana So check to make sure you have installed the Verdana font on your computer, and maybe check your browser’s font display, as well (View > Font Size > Medium (May have to click even if it’s checked.) )Hope that helps.
January 4, 2005 at 11:46 pm #110998LinuxAddictMemberI went to the site spike posted and I have the same problem but I just hightlighted the font to copy and paste and it came out clear. I think it’s the browser. Because I used Mozilla to look at the site a second time and had no problem reading it.
