cant sign in/cant even click icon

I did a search and found nothing so i figured I would try my luck with you guys.
Ive downloaded msn 7, several times, but I have never been able to open it up. What happens is the little guy in the bottom corner comes up in with the x beside it, indicating that I am offline, but then when i try to click him he dissapears.
I have msn explorer 6. when i try to open it, it wont let me. It says its encountered a program and suggests that maybe i dont have enough memory and to shut programs down. The thing is, i have lots of memory, everything is shut down and as its saying this my msn comes online in the bottom corner only to dissapear again when i go to click on it. whats happeneing? thanks in advance for your help.

How about trying to update to the new msn beta 7.5? If you decide to give it a try, let us know if you get the same error.
