MemberI like MSN Messenger very well the way it is. It’s a very simple messenger. It doesn’t have all the bells-and-whistles of some of the others (webcam, IMvironments, HTML support, etc.). It just does a nice, reliable job with a very clean interface.
The only thing I’d add? A web-based online-status indicator (like they have for ICQ and Yahoo).

MemberMickeysoft should decide whether they’re going to interface with the address book or not. Some of my contacts are in my address book and some are not. I have no control over whether they are added or not when I add the contact… it just happens.
The reason this hacks me off is that Messenger doesn’t show the name you put in the address book. You must open OE and display the “contacts” bar (many of which aren’t actually contacts) to see how you’ve customized the name.
Mickeysoft shoud do it or get off the pot.
