Some of you may have noticed we have been expanding the Introduction Section
As normal there is still the focus on our new members, to introduce themselves to the members. We have now introduced two new topics to the Introduction Section that let all members share a bit more about themselves.
Hometown
This new topic is for all members, old and new to let us know a little more about the town you live in. This could be some local history, what you like/dislike about your town. We encourage you to use links that are regional to the place you live in. Also add photo’s of local scenes etc.
Postcards
This new topic is more about a place you have visited recently, could be local day out you took or a holiday you enjoyed. As before make it as interesting as you can with photo’s you took of the place you visited.
For help on the above, or if you need to know how to attach files or any other problems, we have put together a [Hometown] and [Postcard] help post. We have already posted couple of examples so you can see the general idea.
The key idea with both the Postcards and Hometown posts is to share something about yourself. What do you love or hate about where you live, or where you’ve visited? What would you recommend to anyone going there? Remember that there are already plenty of good sites with general geographic and tourist information. These posts should be more about you!
We all hope you enjoy this new and improved part of the Introduction section and hope to see your posts very soon.
If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact either myself or any other member of staff in the Community Section.
Enjoy! :0)
