MemberHi ladie_vennom … I didn’t try that yet but I will …. I am also curious is there a way to totally remove windows messenger 4.7 ?? I have xp home version , Now whenever you install windows and you set up the registration for your personal info , will that have anything to do with MSN messenger as to which country it will provide ??? TIA

MemberCan’t you just go to the Canadian messenger site…http://messenger.msn.ca/Default.aspx and download it from there…it should overwrite the one you have at the moment. You’ll probably find the UK, USA and Canadian messengers are the same…

MemberJust by changing the country and/or zip code it will change your MSN region. I had to do this with mine when I moved. It’s easy and as far as getting rid of 4.7 I would imagine you could do so by just add/remove programs.

ParticipantFor future notice: you do not need to change any local settings via any profiles. Simply visit MSN Messenger World Wide (http://messenger.msn.com/Locale.aspx) and download the version for your language or country.
