I’m using Yahoo Messenger 8.1. I have several yahoo screen names (IDs) under my main default messenger account. Each has its own image displayed on the profile for that screen name. One for work, school, personal, etc. Suddenly when I try to change an image it changes not only the image for the profile I’m trying to edit but it also make that image appear on another of the IDs. (not all of the other IDs it just changes the one I am attemping to edit and one other) I am carefully checking the proper box so it will not use the image on ‘all profiles’. I’m afraid to attempt to change other profile images for fear it will mess them up also. I’m curious if anyone else is having problems changing their profile images and if they are experiencing anything similar or hopefully know why this is happening to me and how to fix it?

Oh Fancy, there are all kinds of problems with Yahoo lately. I’ve heard changing a display pic is definitely one of them. I was testing Mash – which pulls pix from your profiles on Yahoo and I wasn’t able to change it at all. I heard it’s working again, but I’m afraid to try it.
To make matters worse, I was able to delete images but not add any. Some of my contacts on 360 have had all their images (or all but 1) disappear as well.
The Yahoo Profile Pix Gremlins are at work again!
Ack..I was hoping it would be something easier to handle than the dreaded Gremlins! Thanks for the heads-up. I’ll give it some time and try again to change the images in a few days.
