chat freezes and lost yahoo id

Please tell me if i am doing something wrong. For the 3rd time im having to make a new yahoo id. I am sitting in chat, the room freezes, messenger freezes, I log out and then i cant log back into messenger. i keep getting a invalid login.:( I seem to be the only one having this problem.

You are not the only one having the problem. But I do not know how to fix it. There are a lot of people having a similar problem. I sent 14 messages to Yahoo describing the problem and kept getting the same computer generated answer that would send me in a circle. Finally I got another answer that said I had violated the terms of service. There was no indication of what I had done and no other explaination. I got tired of fooling with Yahoo and just started using MSN.

Thanks for replying. I have heard about Y Tunnel . I was wandering if this would help.? I have never been able to get voice or cam to work on msn.Also ….. since I have msn , I have thought about using Trillian. What do you think?

i have same problem..now i can check my mails but can`t open my messenger…………its says FORGOTTEN PASSWORD..:(i dont know y ..i replied to yahoo support …but still i can`t open messenger and chat with my friends………….:(………
BUT…i use YAHOO GAMES…when u entered into yahoo games..for example POOL GAME ….so ur contact friends see u ONLINE…as soon as possible they will send u messege….by this way u can chat….
its easy….:D:D:D:D

Well first of all let me say that I am sorry that this problems is so common, I had this same problem about 5 months ago. I could log into email, and other yahoo services but not into yahoo messenger, so I seeked help from yahoo, always getting the same automated response.. then I found the phone number to yahoo!:eek: and guess what i did?!?! U got it!.. I called, found a way to get to someone live! and bitched and complained, my account was back and working fine in less than 24 hrs. And!.. I havent had any problems with my yahoo messenger or id yet.. U might want to try it.. the number to call is (408) 349-3300. Well I hope it helps. Let me know ok? good luck.
