Hi Everyone,
I’m using a linksys router to get to the internet through my son’s computer, he has a Gateway computer running windows xp, i have a Gateway running windows xp, the voice chat works on his computer, I’m receiving the following message in the chat log:
Voice Error:[(11) Mixer error 11: mixerGetLineInfo(DST-WAVEIN) failure]
Voice Error:yacsMixerInitErrorYahoo tech support said to look at the yacs.log file the following is a view of the log:

Hi Joe,
You may or may not have tried the obvious things so I’ll mention that you can start trouble shooting by making sure your settings are correct. Try going to the ‘Start’ button and then to ‘run’. Type in “dxdiag” then when it calls up the Diagnostic Tool window, click on the tab for ‘Network’ and in the middle of the window click on ‘Direct Play Voice Options’ and run that wizard. It might help. Good luck.

i run the ‘dxdiag’
can not find any errors,but the problem still exsist,
and there is an strang problem in the chatroom,that i can hear something in some chatroom and had never heard anything before,i am not sure that here is anyone who hear me,
but i can not make the pc-pc call(the menu is gray,can not connect to the voice server,there is no error in the call setup)
my microphone and headphone worked well in other im,
i had installed & uninstalled the sound card,drive,and yahoo messager many times
i use the soundcard—soundMAX
the mainboard is p5v800 produced by asusthe error is:

thank u very much.In Control Panel, double-click Sounds and Audio Devices.
On the Voice tab, under Voice Playback, click Advanced.
On the Performance tab, move the Hardware Acceleration slider at least one position to the right.Or ..
first if you have that volume icon in your tray, right click on it and clicl “Open Volume Control”,
now, click on the Options->Properties-> now set the “dot” from playback to recording->click OK…Tick the “Microphone” and then “Advanced” (below it), if Mic Boost is on, turn it off.

Hi everyone:
My name is Carmen Milagros Camacho from Puerto Rico and my computer have a Windows Vista Home Edition and when i enter in the yahoo chat i do not have any audio, I installed Yazak and his elements for windows vista audio and i can’t hear anything also the message is yazak code 2 no input audio. I can hear music and movies excellent but no audio in yahoo chats, please can you help me to fix that problem?
