i cannot access yahoo chat rooms, each time i try to log into one it says it took to long, also their seems to be no persons in the chat rooms although they are listed. can someone advise
I just checked it, can’t sign into chat either although it worked fine yesterday. Probably its just a temporary thing, yahoo’s servers have been very slow in the last days anyway.
Have you been able to sign into yahoo chat before and it’s just today that it’s not working or have you been dealing with that for a longer time already?Here‘s another forum site that seems to have quite good info on this.

Hope you’ll find plenty of help – and interest – around here.As off 6:51AM Pacific Standard Time, the servers are still down. Maybe on the plus side, it will help “clear out” all the dang bots that make Yahoo chat a miserable experience.
Does Yahoo have a “System Status” area on their website that I dont know about? It seems strange that they would not communicate to their community that something is wrong and provide some sort of ETA as to resolution….

well, they communicated that they were ending the Java support, so maybe they thought this would be enough information for their users???
I’m in Germany and I can’t access the chatrooms from Messenger today and my friends in Italy are experiencing the same problemI hope that it’s a temporary thing and that once the servers will be up and running again we get the chatrooms back. :confused:
