Have any of you guys gotten those Chatroom invites that in the message has some link in it as well? I can’t be search able through that profile thing on AIM, so I’m wondering, how are these people getting my AIM sn and if there’s a possible way to prevent them from inviting me. I get like 5 a day and it’s pissing me off 😡
depending on your sn, people might be simply making up names and seeing if they exist… its happened to me
as for preventing them, I know you can “block all incoming chat invitations” but if you still want friends to be able to invite you… then I dunno about that
No one seems to know how its being done, so temporarily there is no solution.
look here I made this post before:

I also made a similar topic, but didn’t get much of a reply from anyone.
I get the invites – they’re like chatrooms from the s/n of a letter followed by a bunch of numbers.
They’re just bots sent out mostly by porn sites to get young people to come in and view their website. Simply ignore them, or block them as I do.
