I’m looking to get Microsoft Office 2003. Does anyone know where I can buy a cheap version?
Hi Meg,
It does look very popular – Bids going up to $100+ on eBay, prices similar on Amazon as well…but at least you will get it for less than retail.
If you want just the standard edition with just the CD, I would try Google Shopping(AKA: Google Product Search). I saw some listed for 25-30 dollars.
Good luck finding the best price. 😉
Or you can download OpenOffice for free. More info is available here.
I found this site absolutecomputerdiscount, but I am not sure if it’s legit. Can anyone let me know?
Sorry Meg, I never heard of it or bought anything from there personally.
I did poke around the site and from my judgment, it looks legit, if you were talking about this website.
You can also visit the Better Business Bureau website and ask them to develop a report of the site here. Currently (10/7/08) they do not have a report on file for that website.
