Ay guys!
Okay so, another question.
You know how you can get spammed with, “find out if your friend has you blocked” and everyones like, “omg”. We all know, it is false.
So, is there some sort of program which shows whether im online, appear offline etc. If i know the password, because sometimes down the bottom my MSN symbol disappears and i have to start it up, so is it possible to check via some program?
The most reliable way to see if anyone is online is simply to use what the program does on it’s own. Status checkers don’t work for the most part and fill your system up with spam. There are a few sites that will check for availablity other ways but most have their own pitfalls.
If you want to see yourself the way others see you, add yourself to your contact list and you’ll be able to see if you show on or offline (which isn’t so bad given the problems WLM has had lately) and you’ll be able to see that any status message you’ve set is showing correctly.
I’m not sure if that answers your question, but it was hard to tell exactly what you were asking for.
Yeh its hard to explain, pretty much yes a status checker, but to be able to put my own details to show. Its okay. Cheers.
