Memberok, i hear this noise from inside my pc but i can’t say exactly where. but i’m sure that is the modem inside, cos when i hear this sound, on my pc, near the symbol of the connection (right and down) it appear also a strange symbol with a little telephone. so i think that the inside modem activate and make disconnect the other modem (adsl). after a few time it stop but it start again any moment 🙁
what kind of problem can it be? 🙁August 5, 2006 at 4:08 pm #149817Spike
MemberStart > Control Panel > Network Connections
If there’s anything there about a dialup connection and you don’t use your modem for anything, delete them.
Next: Right-click My Computer > Properties > Hardware Tab > Device Manager > Check under “Network Devices” and also under “Modems”. If there is anything there that represents a modem, right-click and disable it.
The click noise was your modem trying to connect to the phone system, and it clicks because there’s probably a PC Speaker inside your computer.

Memberi know this, but i’ve thought that was caused by internet, and the repair shop can’t solve problems caused by internet.

MemberIt’s not caused by the internet. Take it to a repair shop and explain the problem to them, they should be able to fix it.
