And congratulations to the folks at Cerulean, makers of Trillian, for their CNET editor’s choice award. They’ve built a fine little messenger that works really well. I find myself running it more and more of the time… to the point that it has become my primary instant messenger.
Oh, and as for skins? If you like the default skin, you’ll love the modified Cordillera skin by Twiggy. My current fave.

BigBlueBall.comI hope Trillian kicks some serious AOL/M$/Yahoo ass! And I hope they find a way to make some coin as they do (WITHOUT ad banners). That’ll prove what I’ve believed all along; that if IMs were all interoperable, the winner is the one that gives me the best mix of useful features, in style. And NOT just the one with the biggest advertising budget.

How can they give any sort of recognition to Trillian. All the other messengers will just shut down their networks cause no-one uses their messengers anymore.
