connection to msn has failed. how do i stop those popups.

check to make sure you have the correct plug-ins downloaded and installed properly.
try removing the pop3 plugin, and attempting to sign in again.

Both of you are wrong, Stiggy that manual is for 2.0, not 3.0 (and it’s horribly inaccurate), and PCM, it has nothing to do with plugins at all, in fact I doubt this person paid for Trillian Pro which means they don’t even have Plugin support! Please check to make sure your facts are straight next time 😉
niksinif, each MSN connection you mke, Trillian will try to check your mail for you (a convenience, supposedly). I’m not at a computer with Trillian on it right now, but if you poke around in the settings (or MSN/Trillian Settings), you might find the option to disable the mail checker (I think if you click the blue MSN icon and get the MSN menu to pop up, it’s somewhere in there, if I recall).
