um my freind has a problem where her entire msn contact list has dissapeared. people can see her but she cant see them, and occasionally a random contact will add itself, otherwise when they add her they just come back normally. the thang is, her contact list is quite large, and for everyone to re-add her would be a very arduose task. thankgs for reading and any help is much appreciated.
I’m guessing your friend may have been effected by the recent problem, as reported from the MSN Messenger web site:

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.huhhhh..i got ur answer…i think u have done some changes in ur settings….. TOOLS/OPTION/PRIVACY/ click ON the chekc box (Alert me when others add me in to thier contact list”..when u make some changes in ur privacy then ur contact list automaticly removed…
dont make changes in ur privacy box….got it ??:p
