Today my Yahoo messenger disconnected, then when I tried to reconnect it said I was logged into another computer and disconnected. Fine, that happens when I have frequent disconnects, which happens a lot here at work,firewall, so I closed the program and then opened it again, logged in. Now all of my contacts names have changed back to their yahoo id’s.
I had added nicknames to my contacts,named them by first names, just to make it easier for me. When I right click on a contact name and select “contact details” I’ve noticed that window that pops up is titled “Add Contact” and I can only add a new contact, but cannot change or edit the nickname or firstname, which btw those fields are empty.
Am I missing something here? What am I doing wrong? 😡
It does that sometimes….don’t worry….they will eventually go back to the way you had them. It’s something about the connection, it happens to me every so often. 🙂
