couple of problems in messenger 6.2

I had to reinstall 6.2 and plus last week.
Now I have a tab bar on the left showing up (news, flights etc – 8 tabs) – how do I remove it, I’ve gone through 6.2 (6.2.0137) and plus (3.2.100) and can’t find out.
Also is there any way to restore my custom contact list?

Go to Tools > Options > Privacy and select the option that says: This is a shared computer, so don’t display my tabs.

I can’t believe it was SO easy. I didn’t check that as this isn’t a shared pc 🙁

It basically means – If someone else were to use the computer, then they may not want the other person to see the tabs!
