I don’t think it’s impossible…But it could be pretty KEWL (cool) if you could…
Kermit…
anyone know how?
I’ve tried importing ones already, even resized them in photoshop to 19×19 pixels, and still no go… they just show the first frame
You cannot add animated emoticons or display pictures yet?? as of right now.
To check out some cool emoticons, display pictures, and backrounds check out this site: http://groups.msn.com/messengerv6beta
Well…….. I found this on http://www.mess.be/
Fury14 wrote a clear tutorial on how to get animated emoticons into MSN Messenger 6. You have to do it the ‘reshack way’ and your tweaked emoticons won’t show at the other end of the conversation (unlike real custom emotes). Read the tutorial here.
Aah… Maybe one day we’ll be able to import animated emoticons the easy way and so they can be sent over to our contacts.
It’s half way there at least…..
The guy that did the above lives here… http://www.xzaust.com/ his new site is in Beta so that actual tutorial ain’t there…
