This may be a dumb question, but I’ve always been told that the only
dumb question is the one you don’t ask. I want to create my own sounds
for when I send IM’s. I know you can get the expresions and all, but you
are limited to what they have, not what you want. Changing the Icon
was no big deal, and changing the sounds that I hear are no big deal.
How about changing the sounds that other people hear when I send
them a message???? Anyone got some insight on this??? Suggestions,
comments, call me a dummy, point me to a site, hey throw me a bone
here, LOL

you might want to check out the AIM Expression Creator for that… just follow the instructions provided and it should churn out an expression for you to use. of course, i havent actually used this myself, so no guarantees that it will work.
Well I read the turorial on it, and it doesn’t say anything about sounds
in there, or any sound files. I know some of my friends when they IM me
it plays a different sound then the standard aim sound. Just not sure
how to set it up so they hear the sound I want them to, rather then the
standard aim sound…. Thanks for your help though, it was really
appreciated how you answered so fast!!!
