Customizing AIM

This is for version 5.5.3595, if you dont have that then it won’t work. To get this you need 2 files, my aimres.dll, and icbmui.ocm here they both are http://imersive-imagery.com/files/aim%20filez/AimRes.dll and http://imersive-imagery.com/files/aim%20filez/icbmui.ocm
let me know if they work good for you, and if you have any ideas.

how did you do this? (reshack?) I opened icbmui.ocm in reshack, I didnt see anything interesting. What did you use to do this, and what is icbmui.ocm?

the icbmui.ocm must be opened in a hex editor to be used. the only thing that I used the icbmui.ocm to change it the screennames in the IM window. they arent there until you press F2, which used to be timestamp. open it up in a hex editor (i use XVI32) and search for html, find the 3rd one that pops up. and well here is a screenshot of what I changed it to

the inserts the screenname instead of timestamp ant the [ before that and the ]: after is what shows up when timestamp is off. be sure that when you are editing hex that you dont add or delete any strings. only change them the file must be the same length after modding it or aim will error out

you seem very good at modding AIM, how did you get everything gray like that? how did you change the maximize, minimize buttons? and how can you let an animated gif work with the sign on? (If you dont wish to give out all of this info, thats fine, I understand) Thanks!

u can change alot of your window stuff with this little prog http://imersive-imagery.com/files/aim%20filez/3D%20Color%20Changer%20(%203DCC%20)_download-1.zip…i I changed the min, max, and close buttons using windowblinds, and as far the the gif sign on screen goes. I just tried it. I went into adobe imageready and made that one really quickly and loaded it into gifdata 103:1033 and it worked perfectly
