i cant send anyone anything thru dcc on irc and on aim, when i directly connect and send something i get an error message about not being able to send packets. what ports do i need to open?
hey, ok well i THINK tht to solve this the ports u need to forward are in connection manager, go to connection manager->irc->preferences->dcc and in there it has first____ and last____, these are the ports it will try to connect using irc, u can change these to what u want, and such, and then forward them, for aim same thing conn. manager->aim->pref->but now go to micelleneous, and in there it has the port for sending files, i believe that this SHOULD help you out, but im using trillian pro, so i dunno if the same goes for trillian .7x but try it out! 😀
