Is Dead AIM compatible with AIM 5.9? i know its compatiable with 5.5 but what about 5.9? is there a way i can fix it if there it isnt?
as far as i know, DeadAIM has not yet been made compatible with 5.9, and there’s really nothing you can do to fix that except wait for another release. you could try switching to another add-on that functions similarly to DeadAIM, depending on what you’re looking for.

I don’t know what the deal with DA and 5.9 is since I’ve never messed with it…I can give it a whirl soon though.
I know that there’s an alpha version in the works, but I don’t know anything beyond that. Someone on the alpha team would have to chime in.
It probably isn’t a “secret” forum, but just a developers’ and admin/moderator forum. Lots of forums have that so that development of the program can be discussed and common bugs for alpha versions can be dealt with. If everyone had access to it, then there would be more spam and additional questions that are irrelevant. If something is changed in the alpha build, there doesn’t need to be hundreds of people asking why and how…know what I mean? The final product is what the end-users get, so that’s mainly all they need to know about just so there’s less stress on the creators…like James.

No, it will only work with 5.5 correctly, if you use 5.9 its all messed up. The author is suppossedly working on a new version but it seems like lately he takes a year to get anything done. I’m glad my $5 went to 1 release in a year… Also its pretty shady that after your registration expires you aren’t allowed to download any version of dead aim.. even if you were a member when 4.5 was released like myself.
