MemberI’m using AIM version 5.9.3797, is the latest version of Dead Aim compatible? I ask because it didn’t work when I tried to install it.

MemberAccording to the website, it’s only been tested up to version 5.5.3595. So I would guess it isn’t compatible since you couldn’t install it.

MemberThanks SlapShot,
Do you have an idea how long it will be before we get the update for Dead Aim?

Keymasterwho says anyone paid for deadaim, or any other piece of software. lets be realistic here, i bet nobody in their right minds would pay for a stupid piece of software that just contains 0s and 1s. i know i never have. with all the freeware alternatives, why waste your money? there is no point. the internet is one place where buisnesses, corporations, marketers, etcetera don’t belong. they aren’t welcome. nobody want’s to receive spam, most people these days block advertisements, and most avid users of the net are not “old enough” to be buying anything online anyway. most online services are “free” to a certian extent. they should be. i will never pay for anything software related for my computer. if you do, i believe that you are a “sucker”.

i cant believe you think that businesses and such dont belong on the internet. some businesses would never be heard of if they didnt exist on the net. what about ebay? google? amazon? those are all businesses and corporations… you think they would be better off staying off the internet?
seriously, try using your brain sometime. it could help.

Participantthis wasn’t meant to turn into a debate, but i just have to answer a few of these.
user91c wrote:exactly, why would someone pay for games, software, music, or anything digital? to me, it sounds stupid. call me whatever you want.because someone put a great deal of effort into making that bunch of 1s and 0s, no matter what the product is (music, movies, software, whatever). if you spent a lot of time and effort on creating something useful or enjoyable, wouldn’t you like to get some kind of reward for your work? true, some people are altruistic enough to not want/need the money, but others would like to be compensated in some way for their efforts.

Quote:sure you could call those buisnesses, but i was refering to “buisnesses” like “DeadAIM” or others that distribute software to gain profit. i should have made that more clear in my first post.most businesses are out to make some kind of profit in some way or another. that’s the idea of a business. what about businesses that sell games? they should give them away for free because it’s just software? even though it took countless programming hours and someone got paid to do that programming, it shouldn’t be sold for profit because it’s just 1s and 0s.
sorry, like i said i dont really want to turn this into an argument (if you really want i can split this off into a separate thread just to debate the issue), but i just can’t let some of that go unanswered.
