DeadAim 4.5 Set Idle

i’ve searched the forum, most people have problems idling but i don’t
my sn turned into idle when i “set idle” but i want people to get my idle message…
i just want to know if others are supposed to get an Idle message when i “set idle”!! :confused:

i’m using:
AIM 5.5.3595
DeadAim 4.5

maybe you forgot to edit your settings: My Aim>>Edit Options >>Edit Prefrences (depending on your aim version this may change.)>>”Idle Messege”. make sure that “When I’m idle respond with:” is checked. if you are idle, people who IM you will see the idle message. they will not see the message if they lookup your profile.

So your saying that people aren’t getting your idle message when they IM you?

It never worked for me either.
I dont think it does work.

It doesn’t work for another person I know they asked me if I knew of any other idlers because that they can’t get it to work.
