Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me. I dont really use yahoo anymore so a couple of days ago I decided to delete it from my computer. I went to add/remove programs like normal and uninstalled it, I then went to program files and deleted the yahoo folder but for some reason when I try to remove the explorer bar from add/remove programs it just stays there and I dont want it there anymore and its annoying me. Any ideas on how I can get rid of it or if the reason I cant get rid of it is because its got spyware in it or something?
Thanks for your help.
Just right click near it (but not on it) and uncheck it so it won’t show. As for uninstalling, it’s probably got a folder of its own like c:program filesyahoo! toolbar or something, just delete everything in there if it won’t install.
If you uninstall yahoo messenger first, you *should* be able to uninstall the toolbar after. Then if you want to reinstall messenger, just make sure you don’t select the option to install the toolbar.
