I can use Google Talk just fine, but I cannot get the connection to work using Trilllian – even with the exact setup that is described on the help pages. Is there any way to detect the port that Google Talk is using? I suspect it scans available ports, like AIM, and connects through the most appropriate one.
The port you ask? Well here it is:
Server Host: talk.google.com
Server Port: 5222
Use Legacy SSL for connection: unchecked
