Well… Did you?
July 13, 2006 at 5:28 pm #148015DragonSlayerzMemberWell I only saw like half of it, the second half.
July 13, 2006 at 5:44 pm #148003Jeff HesterKeymasterThe whole thing. I’m going to miss it. 🙁
July 13, 2006 at 8:13 pm #148012NessaParticipantSoccer isn’t really my thing to watch. I must admit i disliked the fact that it removed some regular tv programming just to air the games. 😮
*goes off and hides from soccer-watching fans*
July 13, 2006 at 11:50 pm #148005TigerbladeParticipantI like soccer in general, but I just didn’t have time to sit down and watch any of the games. Not that I dislike the game, just couldn’t watch it. Besides, it’s more fun to actually BE there than watch it on television.
July 14, 2006 at 12:21 am #148004Jeff HesterKeymasterI’d love to go to the World Cup. Yeah, I watched a lot of it. The early rounds were tough because games were played during working hours, but thanks to a combination of my DVR and Slingbox, I managed to catch most of it.
July 14, 2006 at 1:19 am #148010princeGParticipantI watched as many games as I could cause I had work as well. Luckily I didn’t miss the final and Zidane’s head-butt. I have been watching the World Cup -almost- systematically since 1994 when it was held in USA.
I do remember vaguely though Maradona crying after the end of 1990’s final between Argentina and Germany..
July 14, 2006 at 3:20 am #148016drainMemberI was gone on a mission trip to New Orleans with my church without TV so I couldn’t watch any for a week, but we managed to rig a TV up in the bus and when we drove through St. Louis we could watch some games. We saw the U.S. – Italy game and England v.s. some team (I forgot). We didn’t really get sound and it was fuzzy but I can’t complain.
July 14, 2006 at 3:57 am #148007AwesomeSauceParticipantI didn’t really watch it at all. Soccer is a great sport, but I usually never watch TV (except the Simpsons and Jay Leno). I don’t really know anyone that has watched the world cup, actually.
In fact, Jay Leno pokes fun at how many people – particularly americans – don’t watch it. “So, did anyone watch the World Cup today?” *Two claps from the audience* “Oh yeah, I forgot. No one cares.” 😀

I enjoy playing soccer, but, never really got into it that much… *shrug*
July 16, 2006 at 7:48 pm #148014BShink21MemberI watched as much as I could. A lot of games I missed because of soccer.
July 22, 2006 at 5:25 pm #148006HasanMemberOnly the final

July 24, 2006 at 5:11 pm #148008sarahtownyMemberWell not much of a football fan but I did watch a few matches, and as princeg kept us so up to date on here, I kept up to date with the scores.
