Can someone help to disable the auto-away feature for AIM in Win XP. I have done this via the registry in the past but have since forgot how. Any help would be appreciated.
I’m not sure what the “auto-away” you’re talking about. If you mean the idle message that automatically display if you’re not at your computer for 20 minutes, you can change it in AIM preferences under “Idle message”

I think he is talking about the Windows Session Logoff message when you ‘switch users’ on WindowsXP.
Actually, I was refering to the away status that is always posted when locking your workstation in XP.
Same thing I’m talking about. I never knew of a way to fix this, but maybe a search would help…
