whenever I try to load a buddylist or add a buddy in manually, I get this message “One or more of the additions or modifications to your Buddy List were not able to be saved.” and they don’t get added! 1st of all, it has nothing to do with a buddy limit, I have nobody on the list. 2nd of all, I have un-installed and re-installed it, and it still doesn’t work. i’ve even tried it on another computer and it still won’t add. could anyone PLEASE help me? thank you!
what version of AIM do you have, and what OS? If you’re using 5.9, or 5.53+ I would suggest going down to a lower version: http://www.oldversion.com
i use AIM 5.9, but it doesn’t even matter because on the other computer I used, it did the same thing and it was an older version, and I can’t add even when I go on AIM express. it says the exact same thing.

maybe the buddylist that was saved is invalid. What did you originally save the buddy lista as? have you tried loading the buddylist with another screenname? it’s happened to me before but all I had to do is try again and it loaded just fine. I don’t think that’s the case for you though. so if you have another screenname try adding a buddy with that one.
