Disconnection

I have AIM 5.5 at work and my son has AIM also at work. Everytime I send him a message it disconnects him. I am unable to send a message to him without it disconnecting him. When I send someone else a message it does not do this. Therefore I am assuming it is HIS aim that has the problem. Any solution to this?? He has rebooted and still has this problem. Do you think removing and downloading AIM again will help? I am not sure he can do this at work. The AIM at work was already on his computer when the got this job and computer workstation.

I had the same problem with me and my cousin it has something to do with a time server. The server her aim connected to timed out constantly.
