Display Pic Location

Hey all.
I know this may sound like a wierd question, but where does MSN Messenger keep it’s temp files for other people’s display pictures? I just ask cause sometimes I’d like to have people’s display pictures, cause sometimes they’re awesome.
Anyway, if you know where they’re at, let me know.

OK, that doesn’t help though. That’s where MSN stores your display pictures, not the ones from other people. I mean, MSN has to save it to the hard drive somewhere while it’s displaying, so that’s what I’m wanting to know is where they’re stored at.

I’m unsure if Messenger logs your contacts Display Pictures, but you can always download an addon like CE/DP Stealer (adware free version) which “steals” them from your contact. This program also captures custom emoticons.

Downloaded that file and my virus scanner said that it was infected.

OK, took me forever to delete that file. My virus scanner couldn’t delete it so I had to go through my registry and remove the files by hand and then delete the files with a file wiper. Highly don’t recommend you ever download either of those programs.. does anyone know of something like it that doesn’t contain viruses?

Dwergs says its clean, your scanner is just detecting the adware crap. I don’t know where MS keeps a temp file of other peoples DP’s.

Well, I use Adobe Photoshop CS all the time and am studying computer graphics design, so that’s not a problem for me to do it that way, just a lot more work 😉
