I have msn messenger version 6.2. Windows 98 SE. Recently when I sign on to messenger my display picture changes. Anyone know why?
Do you have any addon like Stuffplug? If I’m right stuffplug had a feature that would randomize your display picture everytime you sign in. If that doesnt work, just remove all the pictures that show up in the menu where you choose your display pic and leave the one you want.
I’m having the same problem since a couple of days. I have two accounts, and with one of them the pic changes every time I sign in. The other account is fine. I have no plug-ins, except for msn plus, but this never caused any problem. Here the pic started changing when I changed my default log-in status from offline to online for that account. I use version 7.5.
Ok mine is fixed. On the options, Privacy, I had the last option on that window checked. When I unchecked it The display doesn’t change automatically. Hope that make sense.
Jodi, change your display picture and then sign out.
Sign back in and tell me if the problem still occurs.If it still does, you may not have rights on the computer you are on. Or there may be a problem with messenger: Try Reinstalling Messenger
