Hey there, I have another few problems hehe. Firstly, when I try and d/l add-ons for my MSN now, they don’t work. After downloading, I try and open it and I get a message reading, “Component “name here” or one of its dependencies not currently registered: a file is missing or invalid.”. Secondly, when downloading new emoticons and I click on the file all I guess is a little picture of it in a paint document, but it doesn’t show up on my emoticon list. And lastly, when I download things for my msn now, can I only download them if it specifies it’s for msn 6 ? or does it not matter either way? Thanx.
Well it sounds like you are using the MSN 6 Beta, you should state which version of MSN you are running and your operating system to make it easier for us to answer your questions.
Emoticons are simply bitmap files that you can import into MSN 6 and use. Go under Tools > C[/b]reate Emoticons…[/b] then click the Add button[/b], browse to your d/l emoticon and enter a key command to use that emoticon.
As MSN 6 is still BETA software, it is likely going to be hit or miss with the MSN now functions. The only way to know is to try it out.
