November 21, 2004 at 7:47 pm #105526MartinBradleyMemberI use PSP too. Easy once you get used to its interface.
November 21, 2004 at 8:33 pm #105521detn8rParticipantPhotoshop owns all.
November 21, 2004 at 8:41 pm #105528SpikeMemberIt’s a matter of opinion. For me, Fireworks owns, becuase it saves all of the image layers in the .png file, and all of the effects are right there, they aren’t scattered around and hard to get to. You can see samples of m work in my sig, and also in neo_ny_23’s and Quiksilver’s (dragonreborn). But, again, it’s a matter of opinion.
November 21, 2004 at 8:52 pm #105522detn8rParticipantMy opinion? Fireworks looks like a cheap rip of Photoshop. Photoshop also has the option to save in png AND jpg =)

Fireworks can save in PNG, JPG, TIF, BMP, GIF (You can make Moving GIF’s, too.), and WBMP. You just have to know how to do it. 😉
Dude, the debate could go on FOREVER. So let’s just leave each other alone, you can have your PS, and I my Fireworks. OK? 🙂

that’s $550 more thanwhat they said it would be.
what about fireworks?November 21, 2004 at 11:11 pm #105523detn8rParticipantNovember 22, 2004 at 12:55 am #105531amy_d_gParticipantI use Paint Shop Pro 8 and love it. Had a trial of Photoshop, seemed pretty good, but I really didn’t use it long enough to get comfortable with it. I did have Fireworks installed when I bought my computer and hated it. I agree with detn8r on that one, and it didn’t seem to be able to do anything that my psp couldn’t do. I guess it’s a matter of personal preference.

Come on, man, let’s not start an argument here. Each has its own unique features, as I said already. Why must everyone push this?
November 22, 2004 at 1:13 am #105525Someguy03MemberWhat features does FireWorks have that photoshop doesn’t? Besides, as long as my program costs more than yours, its better. 😉
