Spyware?!?
Right now I’m using Trillian , but I’ve been wanting to try the newest version of AIM.. been a while since I used it -AIM-, period. But a few people I talk to online that have used it, have said that supposedly it’s “FULL OF SPYWARE!”. So the question is… Is it??
As long as you remove the web browser that comes with it, you should be fine. I’ve found no “spyware”.
When installing AIM.. Does it have an option where you can choose whether or not I want the browser to be installed? Or is there something I ‘manually’ need to do? -Thanks, btw-
To uninstall the AOL Explorer run: Program Files/AOL/Explorer/1.2/uninst.exe
Thanks a bunch, Haza.. that’s what I was curious about.:)
