There isnt anything new about that version. Which is what I think the above poster meant as in a new messenger- having new features.

That I would like to know as well. Yahoo hasnt really added any new features in a long time

Yes, there are plenty of new builds being released by Yahoo, but no news yet of an overhauled new version.
