Does Live Messenger replace MSN Messenger?

Can anyone tell me does ‘Windows Live Messenger’ replace ‘MSN Messenger’ and in Live Messenger how do you send a message to someone who is offline so they will get it as soon as they log in?

Windows Live Messenger is the new name for Msn Messenger, but it’s also known as Msn 8.0

Msn Messenger keeps this name only for versions older than 8.0

If you want to send an offline message to a contact, just double click on their name, the IM window opens, and you’re all set =)
