I have a question, everyonce in awhile when I get a file threw messenger from one of my buds it says it needs the microsoft .net framework version 1.1 redistributable package to work. I don’t know what its use is for really or if it will screw up my computer in anyway. Can anyone tell me on here what .net framework does and how it works with messenger or any other program? Thank You:D
It’s basically a programming backend for programs made using Microsoft.NET technologies, it won’t harm your computer. MSN Messenger doesn’t need it, you can get it at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=262d25e3-f589-4842-8157-034d1e7cf3a3 (23MB)
