Ok, so here’s the problem:
DeadAim [/b]only logs conversations when the particular IM window has been closed out, not as the messages are sent to one another.
AIM+ [/b]logs conversations as soon as messages are sent to one another but the problem with AIM+ is that it doesn’t work with newer versions of AIM.Here’s the question:
Is there an AIM add-on program that both works with new versions of AIM and logs conversations as soon as they occur?
I have problems with this b/c my computer often gets turned off by family members and I don’t recieve my messages from while I’m away unless the IM window has been closed out prior to shuting down.
Oh yeah, I know ppl get mad when ppl post questions without looking if the question has been asked but I looked for anything on this question and couldn’t find anything. If it has been asked and answered, would someone link me to that forum.

I had read this specific post you referred too and I had wondered if this program did what I was about to ask about. The post didn’t go much into detail about the logging, just the simple fact that it logged IM’s. When I posted this question, I forgot to include the part where I also wanted a program that logged away,idle,sign on,sign off. I guess I could use DeadAim and this “Middle Man” program together and it would work just as well until something better comes out or until Middle Man “expands” their logging capibilities.

Yup, Middle man currently only logs Messages and Profiles. From what I hear… events should be comming very soon (away,idle,sign on,sign off). But yes.. you can use DeadAIM along with Middle Man for now, and have DeadAIM do the event logging (and tabbed windows, if you use that) while Middle Man does the rest.
how do you run mm and dead aim at the same time? because…. i have dead aim right now, and a DLed mm, and an error always turns up… im not the best at this stuff…:mad: after i installed mm i couldnt even find how to use it, so i un-installed it… ah! what to do
never mind… i figured that out… but… whenever i close the buddy list window THEN the error occurs… and then boom i get signed off aim and all that jazz… mer… yes. thankyou
AIMutation also logs in real-time and has event logging too (log on/off, away/back, /idle, etc), plus chat loggingm and direct connection file/chat logging
plus skins and more
