My kids use AIM on their own user log-on on our PC.
I don’t use it at all but lately my daughter’s aim buddy list etc. comes up on my screen. Everytime her friends come on I hear the door open etc. I want all of this completely off my user account, without taking it off the computer. Does anyone know how to do that??
Thanks!
Kasykd
You can:
1) Disable her ‘Login Automatically’ option on your XP account, so that the buddy list won’t come up
OR
2) Configure XP to not start AIM for your profile. You can do so by going to MsConfig, (Start>Run>msconfig>Startup tab) and un-checking the AIM checkbox for your accrount.
