Don’t want to start I fight but yahoo messenger has had many problems with it I really would sugest using MSN6.
June 6, 2003 at 10:07 pm #61878shifterMemberYes, because there are no problems in MSN 6 whatsoever…………
Each and every IM client has its own set of problems and weaknesses. There is really no point in debating which is the better IM client as it is generally a matter of personal preference and acceptance of use among friends. I personally use MSN for the majority of my IM needs, although I do use Yahoo on occasion as well.
It does seem as though you would actually like to start a fight with the Yahoo users, as posting such a comment would likely result in nothing less. I gather from your inquiry about how to get a higher rating that you are actually starting this topic so as to create an argument you can put multiple posts into to help further your status.
I would recommend closing this Topic as no good can come of it.

Fair enough, now what exactly was your point? You made a statement but no point was made.

Anyone i know uses either Yahoo! or aim, or both i would just be guessing that yahoo has more users, each messenger has it’s pluses and minuses, i think it’s dumb to sit and say one is better then the other. I like the offlines u can send/receive with yahoo, is very nice, you can use webcams as well, the emails don’t get deleted after a month. Yahoo does have the worst sounds, it’s like they picked out the most annoying sounds and put them on their messenger, lol, most people don’t use them. Aim is my favorite messenger to chat on, if a friend on yahoo has aim i prefer to chat on aim, just a lot simpler and nicer, yahoo could make theirs a lil fancier lookin, an for sure pick out some new sounds, love warning people on aim an sharing pics and what not.

Register a .NET passport with another E-Mail, that will solve it.

I replaced yahoo sound folder with ICQ’s. I am still trying to figure out what kind of a person would go “there are lots of people out there who want to hear a cow bell everytime they get a message. Lets put that sound on”.
June 7, 2003 at 6:18 am #61875BrianMemberI agree that there has been so many problem with Yahoo Messenger itself than MSN Messenger, ICQ, AOL IM/AIM and SOME other instant messaging clients. I try my best to encourage my friends and assocaites to try MSN Messenger. 🙂
June 7, 2003 at 1:55 pm #61881lukezwebMemberMy point really was just to find out people’s views on the IM services.
