Ok, say you are signed on and something goes wrong with the connection, or you just get off real quick. If you sign back on right a way it pops up you have the same screen name signed on twice. Does that mean you yourself are signed on twice or is there someone on a different computer signed on your screen name?
It normaly just means your signed on twice, I think maybe the AIM Server dosent relize that your off when it gets froze up and shuts down but eventually it relizes your off and signs your screen name off… If I’m wrong somebody please correct me 🙂

Sometimes it takes a few seconds for the AIM server to recognize that you’ve been disconnected or signed off. If it still recognizes you as being signed on and you sign on quickly, then it may think you’re signed on at 2 locations.
